**Overview**

**Duties**

  • Operate and drive a 5 Ton box truck to transport used tires from various locations to our Crossfield facility.
  • Load and unload tires (maximum 50kg) ensuring proper lifting technique. The box truck has a lift gate to assist with heavier tires, however they will still need to be stood up and rolled over.
  • Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding pickups and any issues that may arise.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
  • Assist your swamper including heavy lifting and moving of tires.

**Skills**

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
  • Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely.
  • Excellent communication skills to relay information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and ensuring safety compliance.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
