**Job Overview**
As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to an individual in their home. Your primary responsibility will be to assist client with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a dedicated individual who is skilled in various aspects of caregiving and has a genuine passion for helping others. Experience with dementia and cognitive decline would be helpful.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide assistance or supervision with daily living activities such as bathing, cooking, cleaning etc.
- Support clients with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Assist with mobility if needed.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in hobbies or interests.
- Engage in Speech and Language exercises and OT/PT Therapies as directed by professionals.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to family members or healthcare professionals.

**Skills**
- Experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or hospice care is highly desirable.
- Strong background in patient care, particularly with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies for effective communication.
- Proficiency in home care practices including cleaning and meal preparation.
- Ability to perform nursing tasks as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to enhancing client well-being through quality caregiving. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those they serve while fostering an environment of trust and respect within the home setting.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$23.46 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
