**Job description**

Piller’s Fine Foods, a Division of Premium Brands Operating Limited Partnership, is a premier Canadian producer of the finest European-style processed meats with state-of-the-art production facilities throughout Ontario. Our award-winning deli products under the Piller’s brand are sold to grocery and restaurant chains throughout North America.

We are currently accepting resumes for a **Full-Time** **Sanitation Operator (Afternoon)** for our meat processing facility located in Waterloo, Ontario.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- The position will involve the cleaning and sanitizing of equipment in our production plant.
- Responsible for removing raw product from production areas
- Using high pressure hose, 900 p.s.i., lifting & bending to disassemble equipment, moving tables
- Making sure all HACCP requirements are being met / HACCP paperwork
- Working safely and in accordance with company safety policies and procedures, in addition to OHSA regulations.
- Follow the Company’s Quality Assurance Program in relation to this position i.e. HACCP
- Assist in other production as requested.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Physically fit and capable of completing repetitive tasks with the ability to perform heavy lifting (able to squat, push, pull)
- Excellent reading, writing and communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented and mechanically inclined
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Team oriented and ability to multi-task
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to wear PPE including steel toe boots, hairnet, bump cap, face mask, and hearing protection
- Knowledge of safe food processing an asset
- Successful applicants will be required to work straight days Monday - Friday. Overtime may be required on an as-needed basis.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**:

- Cold (approximately 5 degrees Celsius)
- Damp
- Use of chemicals

**HOURS**:

- Monday - Friday
- 2:00PM-10:00PM **(Afternoons)**
