Causal Onsite Caretaker

Role and Responsibilities

Providing day-to-day maintenance, janitorial, grounds keeping, and general caretaking duties including and not limited to the following:

- Ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained physical environment by ways of snow removal, yard care, cleaning, general maintenance, upkeep, daily inspections, and repairs
- Overseeing security, fire prevention, and other safety systems
- Liaison between tenants/owners and the property manager.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and requirements of Health departments, Municipal fire and police, or any other municipal, provincial, or federal authority having jurisdiction
- Arranging for third party service providers as required
- Arranging unit improvements as instructed by the Property Manager and overseeing the contractors’ work.
- Rent collections and posting ORT notices
- Move-in and move-out inspections
- Cleaning units and showing to prospective tenants

The list of responsibilities should be used as a basis for this position to ensure the optimal operating condition of the property and therefore should not be considered exhaustive.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Casual

Pay: $18.50-$22.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
