You are experienced in technology and security administration across medium to large organizational networks and cloud environments. Also, you are looking to have an impact, in your job, your workplace, and the World too, by working for a company that brings innovation to another level.
**YOUR CONTRIBUTION**
The Cybersecurity Analyst is a member of the IT Infrastructure team. Working closely with the IT team, you will have the opportunity to implement cybersecurity projects and manage the operational aspects. You will report to the IT Infrastructure Manager. This is an opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team as you enrich your career and work on Enerkem’s unique and disruptive technology.
As the Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be a hands-on individual contributor who will work in a matrix type environment to manage and interact with a technical team of direct, related parties and outsourced resources.
Your role and responsibilities will be the following:
- Support user provisioning, auditing, and governance processes and procedures.
- Assist with access, security reviews, and audits in accordance with regulatory and audit compliance.
- Analyze and manage security incidents on our various platforms.
- Analyze system vulnerabilities and plan remediation measures.
- Organize awareness campaigns and training on IT security for employees.
- Participate in the development of policies and guidelines (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
- Develop, coordinate and lead projects to enhance and upgrade our security practices.
- Participate in internal audits and compliance testing.
- Document and implement internal processes.
**Qualifications**:
- 5+ years of relative work experience.
- General knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Knowledge of standards, regulations, and laws governing information security (NIST, CIS, TOGAF, ITIL, ISO 27001).
- Experience in working in a matrix environment of indirect, remote, and outsourced resources.
- Experience developing and executing cyber event playbooks / run books.
- Assist with access, security reviews, and audits in accordance with regulatory and audit compliance.
- Experience in performance measurement of cybersecurity programs.
**YOUR COMPETENCIES**
- Excellent social, verbal, and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively present analytical data to a variety of technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of data analysis methods.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into terms and products in a business context so that the value and impact is clearly understood by upper-level management.
- Ability to deal diplomatically and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated proficiency managing cybersecurity solutions, platforms, and technologies.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP considered an asset.
