Cads Draftsperson

**BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION**:
This role is responsible for the creation of aluminum extrusion manufacturing drawings for customer approval.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

- Creation of high quality 2D Extrusion and Fabrication drawings based on client provided sketches and/or drawings.
- Co-ordinate with Production and Sales team on design problems and requirements.
- Communicate with clients and suppliers with regards to possible design issues.

**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- AutoCAD experience is a must.
- Autodesk Inventor experience considered an asset.
- Completion of a minimum two-year post-secondary program in Drafting, and technical training.
- Excellent knowledge of basic drafting standards.
- Excellent computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office products.
- Works well within a team environment, as well as independently, solution orientated, accountable and takes ownership.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and aggressive deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Detail oriented.
