Underground Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:
- Commitment to working safely, promoting safety culture, and leading by example;
- Ensure that company policies, procedures, and safety regulations are being adhered to at all times;
- Provide leadership on site with the ability to effectively manage a team of underground miners in a production setting;
- Evaluate project performance, provide input, and implements solutions to any challenges identified;
- Represents oneself positively as the on-site face of the company in interactions with the client and other contractors;
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance in a production environment;
- Conduct audits and inspections as required.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 10 years of mining experience required;
- Previous production mining supervision experience in potash required;
- Currently hold or able to expeditiously obtain Underground Supervisor’s Certificate;
- Currently hold a valid first aid level A and CPR certificate as required for underground supervision;
- Demonstrate an In-depth knowledge and understanding of underground mining methods, safety procedures, and regulations;
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills;
- Must be willing to work 12 hour shifts in an underground environment;
- _Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing will be required._
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Experience**:
- Underground Mining Supervision: 10 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Underground Supervisors Certificate (required)
- GMSA (required)
