_**Description**_

The Walker Sport and Ability Centre at Canada Games Park is proudly managed by ASM Global, the world’s largest and most trusted venue management and services company operating the most prestigious entertainment, sports, and exhibition venues spanning five continents, with a portfolio of more than 300 stadiums, arenas, convention centres, entertainment districts, theatres, amphitheaters, and equestrian and recreational centres. ASM Global has an immediate opening at The Walker Sport and Abilities Centre at Canada Games Park for an Administrative Coordinator. Reporting to the General Manager, this position oversees all daily sign-in and administrative duties consistent with ASM Global/Walker Sports and Abilities Centre at Canada Games Park regulations.
- **Summary**_ The facility Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing a safe and friendly experience for all guests. This role will occupy the front desk, responding to incoming calls, greeting guests, and answering inquiries.
- **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**_
- Operate front desk in a courteous, professional manner,
- Ability to administer building booking software and other systems related to operations,
- Knowledge of customer service processes and how they impact business operations,
- Maintain office inventories,
- Handle various administrative tasks, highly organized,
- Supports employee scheduling and payroll administration duties,
- Utilize established metrics and tracking tools to monitor CGP program engagement, program budgets and quality of programs and reports on effectiveness and program usage.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- In conjunction with other departments, ensures all event requirements have been implemented according to quality standards.
- Attends appropriate planning, organization and other event and facility meetings in support of facility operations.
- Maintaining close contact with clients and facility staff to ensure successful events, resolving any issues
- Knowledge of sporting event venues considered an asset,
- Other duties as assigned
- **Education, Skills and Abilities**_
- Secondary school graduate,
- Previous clerical, administrative experience considered an asset,
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask,
- Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic
- Adaptability, able to adapt to changes in the workplace,
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to work as part of a shift rotation including days, afternoons, evenings, holidays and weekends.

Located next to the Brock University main campus and walking distance from the Athletes Village, Canada Games Park and the Walker Sports and Abilities Centre will be home to new state-of-the-art sport facilities. These facilities will include the Walker Sports and Abilities Centre, consisting of a sport performance centre, a health & well-being centre, a twin-pad arena, a 200m indoor track, sport offices, and a multipurpose fieldhouse that will feature a parasport gymnasium and a combative sport centre. Six competition beach volleyball courts, a cycling and storage pavilion, and a 400m track-and-field facility will be located outside of the Walker Sports and Abilities Centre. After the 2022 Games, Walker Sports and Abilities Centre will be open to the community and provide opportunities for all, regardless of age or physical ability.
