**Talent Acquisition Specialist (15-Month Contract)**

**What you will do**:
**Talent Acquisition and Recruitment**
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand talent needs, ensuring efficient and successful recruitment processes.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.

**Employer Branding and Marketing**
- Maintain and enhance recruitment materials, ensuring alignment with our employer branding and company culture.
- Drive employer branding initiatives on online platforms to position Longboard as an employer of choice.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns that highlight our unique ‘People Come First’ culture and career opportunities.

**Process Improvement and Training**
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine standardized recruitment processes to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Design and deliver interview training programs to enhance hiring managers’ skills and improve decision-making.
- Oversee the development and regular updates of job descriptions, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with department leaders to create structured onboarding and skills training plans for new hires.
- Leverage data analytics to track recruitment metrics, identify trends, and suggest actionable improvements.

**Qualifications**:

- A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- CPHR designation or progress toward one is highly valued.
- **Tech Proficiency**: Proficient with HR ATS systems (experience with UKG is a bonus) and platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter.
- **Organizational Skills**: Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- **People-Centric Focus**: Passion for working with diverse individuals and fostering an inclusive, supportive work environment.
- **Collaboration**: Strong relationship-building skills and a team player mentality, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- **Analytical Skills**: Comfortable using data and analytics to drive decision-making and improve recruitment outcomes.
