**Part-time or full-time summer position. Full-time hours Monday to Friday, 11 AM - 7 PM - No weekends or holidays.**

**The Taco Chip Production produces and packages Tortilla and Taco Chips for our own operations and shipments to local grocery stores.**

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous food handling and kitchen experience an asset.
- Must have own transportation.
- Available some weekends and evenings.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instruction and health & safety standards is essential
- Ability to endure long hours standing and walking.
- Must be able to continually lift 30 lbs.
- Ability to bend, twist, lift, and carry items for extended periods of time.
- Act in accordance with all policies, procedures, dress code, and health and safety issues in accordance with OHSA, WSIB programs, fire regulations and health department requirements.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Setting up work area and ensuring the work area and equipment is maintained, clean, and sanitary throughout each shift.
- Must be able to work independently and as a team.
- Cleanup of entire department at the end of every shift
- Prepare, mix and package tortilla's and chips for regular and specialty orders, ensuring all items being sold meet our quality and hygiene standards
- Follow all standard food preparations procedures and standardized recipes.
- Ensuring that all products are properly labeled, and stored
- Accurate record keeping of all customer orders and product dates
