As a Sales Representative, you'll play a key role in bringing our carefully curated selection of pet-centric products to households where pets are thought of as family members.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer Engagement**:

- Develop and maintain genuine relationships with customers, understanding their pet-related needs and preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their inquiries and purchases.
- Provide expert guidance on our product offerings, ensuring customers find the perfect solutions for their furry friends.

**Sales Growth**:

- Implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth within the pet product market.

**Product Knowledge**:

- Become an expert on our product line, staying updated on features, benefits, and industry trends.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the uniqueness and quality of our offerings.

**Customer Education**:

- Educate customers on the importance of creating a harmonious living space for both pets and their human families.
- Emphasize the style and contemporary têxtiles that define our commitment to quality and aesthetics.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a retail or pet industry setting.
- Passion for pets and a genuine enthusiasm for improving their lives through quality products.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with customers on a personal level.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel for business meetings & tradeshows is a must.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of technical sales is a plus
- Ability to upsell products and services to meet sales goals
- Proficiency in using a POS system for transactions
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide support as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

**Salary**: $21.60-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Day range:

- Monday to Friday

Shift:

- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Surrey, BC: Relocate before starting work (required)
