Overview:
Join our veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist and play a crucial role as the first point of contact for our valued clients and their pets, especially during urgent situations in our emergency medicine setting. This role is vital in delivering exceptional customer service and support in a compassionate environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet clients and their pets warmly and assist with check-in procedures
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Verify client information and update records accurately
- Handle payments, invoices, and financial transactions
- Assist with filing and organizing medical records
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and clients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer systems for scheduling and record keeping
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners

Nice-to-have Skills:

- Familiarity with veterinary emergencies

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
