St. Jude’s Academy is seeking a committed professional to join our team. We are a private school in Mississauga, Ontario. St. Jude’s Academy is an authorized IB World school with over 600 students between JK - Grade 12. As staff members, we value collaboration and support all learners to achieve their best.
**This position is for: Temporary Before/After Care & Support Worker**:
- with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.
**Job Requirements**
- Experience with children
- Clear vulnerable sector check
- Background in Education/ECE/CYW is preferred
- Training in English Language Learning for ESL/ELL
- First aid training is preferred
- After care will require you to be at the school for 3:30pm in order to set up for 3:45 start time. You will be required to ensure care over all students until 6:30pm. You will be required to check ID of parents picking up and entering the times students leave into our tracking system.
- Support work can include, but is not limited to, assisting students to the washroom, helping in the kindergarten classrooms, and delivering lunches.
- During March break and Summer break, there will be an opportunity for you to work full days in order to help run camp programs
This position is for 7:30am - 12:30pm and 3:30pm-6:30pm on all school days.
