Outside Sales Representative

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage an account portfolio of medium to large size customers, as well as executing a balanced focus of new customer acquisition activity.
- Weekly field activity through customer calls including a minimum level of new customer development.
- Maintain high sales activity to ensure all accounts are called on a monthly basis.
- Ability to understand customer needs and concerns to help them get the job done and win their business.
- Aggressively follow up on leads to convert to sales revenue.
- Communicate regularly with branch staff in order to resolve customer issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The skills and qualifications required for this position include:
- The ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a team environment
- A valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements
- Strong organizational skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Customer-service focused
- Able to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs
- A Degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent industry experience is preferred but not required
- Preference may be given to individuals from the Industrial & Construction Supply Industry
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
