Social Media Coordinator

Kinka Family is currently looking for a **Social Media Coordinator **to join our team

**JOB OVERVIEW**

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day execution of all social media campaigns and platforms and for creating social media and e-newsletter content that will increase brand awareness and engagement. The role requires creating content and scheduling to sustain Kinka brands on social media platforms. Must maintain consistent communication style and have a keen eye for noticing what is or is not consistent branding.

**RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**
- Create engaging text, image and video content that aligns with Kinka Family brands
- Help grow and manage social media presence on all platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.
- Measure and monitor traffic on social media platforms
- Plan and develop social media and e-blast calendar to ensure relevancy and timeliness
- Ensure seamless brand messaging across all partners and efforts
- Stay updated with changes in all social media platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
- Stay updated with the latest marketing trends, audience preferences and competitor activities
- Assist in copywriting related to marketing activities within each of the restaurant’s concepts including menu changes, marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Other tasks/projects as assigned from time to time

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a direct Social media role
- Skilled and passionate copywriter/content creator
- Independent worker that is self-motivated
- Experience with social media channels, social management platforms, social advertising and analytics with a keen understanding of today’s consume
- Bilingual (English/French) - French is an asset
- Genuine interest in food and the restaurant industry
- Experience with Microsoft Office required
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without **sponsorship** for employment for a work-authorized permit to be considered.

- 8 hour shift
