Conducts highway/road clearing and snow removal using medium and heavy vehicles (Wheel loader, grader, skid steer) and equipment requiring a Class 1 or 3 license with air brake endorsement; operates/controls multiple blades and salting mechanisms; and performs a variety of highway/road maintenance tasks for the Parks Canada Agency.

The Highway Operations Unit is gearing up for a busy winter season and is looking to hire a number of Class 1 & 3 Operators for positions that are 6 - 7 months in duration.

EXPERIENCE

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Conditions of employment

- Maintenance of a valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with Air Brake endorsement
- Willing and able to lift up to 23 kg without the use of lifting aids
