**Position**:Helper/Labourer

Scotton Palmer Construction is an established framing company located in Nanaimo, B.C. We specialize in framing high-end, custom homes on Vancouver Island. We are looking for journeymen carpenters/helpers/labourers to join our growing team. Our company prides itself on providing exceptional service to our clients. These permanent full-time positions are an opportunity for the right individuals to advance their career in an active environment working directly with Red Seal carpenters to provide high quality framing services.

**Responsibilities**

▪ Assist journeymen carpenters in carrying out all aspects of framing work

▪ Follow all safety protocol and guidelines

▪ Represent the company in a positive and professional manner

**Qualifications**

▪ Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in adverse conditions

▪ Excellent communication and teamwork skills

▪ Able to follow directions and work independently

▪ Valid BC driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract

▪ Related work experience would be considered an asset

Nanaimo is a fast-growing city known for great outdoor activities and our central location makes travel easy to Vancouver, Victoria, Tofino and surrounding areas.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
