We have grown from one standalone Gas Bar in downtown Winnipeg to an ever-expanding co-operative with 50 gas bar locations, 24 car washes, 6 cardlocks, 9 food stores, 8 pharmacies and an oil supply centre. Our fleet of trucks are on the road delivering fuel to farm and commercial accounts in Manitoba and northwestern Ontario.

And we just keep growing as we develop fresh, modern ways to deliver premium products with extraordinary customer service.

**The Opportunity**:
Red River Co-op is recruiting for the position of a multi-site **Assistant Gas Bar Manager. They will help manage two Gas Bar locations in Winnipeg, MB — 885 Waverley Street (Lindenwood) and 705 Osborne Street (Osborne).**This position reports to the Gas Bar Manager. The Assistant Gas Bar Manager adds value to our Co-operative by assisting in day-to-day operations of the gas bar.

Essential responsibilities of the position include the following:

- Develop and promote a strong culture of engagement within the stores.
- Support the Gas Bar Manager in daily operations for both Gas Bars.
- Lead your team to provide world class customer service.
- Do your part in helping to achieve financial results and budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses and profits.
- Ensure shift to shift standards of the Gas Bars are met, including cleanliness and sanitation, safety standards, inventory control, rotation, ordering and commitment buys.
- Must possess a valid class 5 MB Driver's License and a vehicle for business use.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

- Previous experience in a retail supervisory role
- Thorough knowledge of retail operations
- Excellent communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills
