Our Organization is looking for a driven an organized individual to fill the
role of an Estimator at our Thunder Bay Location. We are looking for an
extremely high attention to detail. This position is based out of our Office
Located at 1166 Russell Street and includes working very closely with our
Project Managers. Files start with an initial inspection report and go
through completion of estimates and uploading them to our insurance
partners for review.

**Experience**:
Any computer experience is an asset; we use insurance-based programs like Xactimate

**Solid understanding of construction practices is an asset**
Strong analytical skills and construction detailing practices with great attention to
detail & the ability to recognize discrepancies

**Excellent verbal and written communication skills**
Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done
**Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook**
Outstanding time management, prioritization, multitasking, and organizational skills

**Responsibilities**:
The Estimators are directly responsible for:
1. To Generate initial reports with the data provided and send/upload to third parties
2. Ensure core documentation was provided for every project they are working on
3. Ensure timelines are met for reporting and estimating

**Generate estimates by entering sub trade quotes, developing the estimate with the**
**provided work scope and building a drawing from the sketch provided.**
Identify and collaborate labour, material, and time sheets as required to meet the
specific projects specifications and verify that the estimates reflect the job costing.

**Consult with Project Manager to address concerns and inquire on missing**
**documentation in a constructive manor.**
Maintain close support with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that estimates are accurate and provided in as required.

**Review projects, plans & specifications to determine scope of work and to generate an accurate and complete estimate.**
Acquire on the job knowledge of different Service Level Agreements and develop
method to ensure estimates meet the specific guidelines.

**Contribute to a healthy partnership with Project Managers and Administration Staff.**
Effectively and efficiently communicate with Project Managers on estimate revision.

**Monitor estimate timelines and ensure thorough communication practices to meet**
**deadlines.**

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
