**Overview of this role**

Asan Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our omnichannel retail and digital store. Working directly with the Store Manager, you will assist in managing the store's staff, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction levels. You will be responsible for a product knowledge program and maintaining this training for your team. You will be expected to lead by example, provide guidance and support to the team, and actively contribute to achieving sales targets and business objectives. You will find yourself being involved in all aspects of the business to varying degrees.

**Responsibilities**

1. **Team Leadership and Development**:

- Provide leadership and guidance to retail associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and coaching team members to ensure they deliver excellent customer service and meet sales goals.
- Lead a product knowledge initiative that is executed daily/ weekly and incorporates the help of your team experts.

2. **Operational Excellence**:

- Assist in managing daily stand website operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory restock, merchandising displays, monitoring web and warehouse activity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement strategies to optimize store performance and drive sales from all angles.

3. **Customer Service**:

- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Foster a customer-centric culture among team members, ensuring that each customer's needs are met and exceeded.

4. **Sales and Performance**:

- Work closely with the store manager to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue generation.
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Implement sales strategies and promotions to drive traffic and increase sales conversion rates.

5. **Visual Merchandising**:

- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation to enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Ensure that products are displayed attractively, and signage is accurate and up to date.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a retail environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business results.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on operational excellence and efficiency.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel / Google sheets and familiarity with retail POS systems.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
