Florist Assistant

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Design and create floral arrangements for various events such as weddings, funerals, and special occasions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their floral needs and preferences.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop, ensuring all products are displayed attractively.
- Manage inventory levels of flowers and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure freshness and availability.
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and e-commerce orders.
- Engage in retail sales activities, promoting seasonal products and special offers to customers.
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks when required, contributing to outdoor displays and garden areas.
- Utilize horticultural knowledge to educate customers on plant care and selection.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in floral design or a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems and experience in cashiering is essential.
- Knowledge of gardening and horticulture practices is beneficial.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain shop orderliness.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- A keen eye for detail in design and merchandising to enhance product appeal.
