Runner

We are seeking a reliable and efficient **Runner** to support daily operations at The Medicine Box and Le Roi. This role ensures that orders are fulfilled promptly, stock is managed effectively, and the work environment remains clean and organized. The Runner is a vital part of keeping the store running smoothly by assisting with stock, deliveries, and maintaining speed and efficiency throughout the day. We're currently looking for full and part time availability.

**Responsibilities**:

- Fulfill orders promptly.
- Maintain speed and efficiency in all tasks to ensure smooth store operations.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Reorganize the stockroom, clean work areas, and sweep floors during slower periods. Be proactive in checking in to see what you can support and help with
- Assist with inventory management as required.
- Help organize and place incoming stock during deliveries.
- Communicate with management about low stock levels to ensure timely restocking.
- Perform product facing to keep shelves neat and products clearly visible.
- Open and unpack boxes efficiently, organizing items for display or stock.

Expectations
- Quickly and accurately retrieve customer orders from the elevator or stockroom.
- Handle products with care, ensuring proper rotation and neat, accessible displays.
- Support cashiers and sales staff by replenishing stock and assisting with product availability inquiries.
- Keep the stockroom well-organized, properly labeled, and safe.
- Unpack and organize new shipments promptly.
- Proactively identify areas where help is needed and take initiative without constant direction.

Qualities & Skills
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with cashiers and team members.
- Punctuality and reliability in all shifts and responsibilities (all shifts require you punching in prior to your start time)
- Efficiency and consistency in completing tasks.
- Ability to proactively find tasks during slower periods.
- Physical ability to lift and handle items weighing over 50 lbs.
- Team-oriented attitude with strong collaboration skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities without sacrificing quality.
- Availability to work **during the day** on scheduled shifts (flex for evenings and weekends an asset).
- Previous retail, stock, or logistics experience is an asset, but not required.
- Must be comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and carrying boxes.
- Must be bilingual (French/English)

Le/la Préposé(e) aux courses joue un rôle essentiel dans le bon fonctionnement du magasin en aidant avec la gestion du stock, les livraisons et en maintenant rapidité et efficacité tout au long de la journée.

Responsabilités
- Exécuter les commandes rapidement.
- Maintenir rapidité et efficacité dans toutes les tâches afin d’assurer le bon fonctionnement du magasin.
- Garder en tout temps un environnement de travail propre et sécuritaire.
- Réorganiser l’entrepôt, nettoyer les espaces de travail et balayer les planchers durant les périodes plus calmes. Être proactif(ve) en vérifiant où vous pouvez offrir du soutien
- Aider à la gestion des inventaires au besoin.
- Participer à l’organisation et au rangement du stock entrant lors des livraisons.
- Communiquer avec la direction concernant les niveaux de stock faibles afin d’assurer un réapprovisionnement en temps opportun.
- Effectuer le « facing » des produits pour garder les tablettes propres et les articles bien visibles.
- Ouvrir et déballer les boîtes efficacement, en organisant les articles pour l’exposition ou le stockage.
