Snake Lake Brewing Company, located in Sylvan Lake Alberta. We have a 75 person taproom as well as a patio that accommodates 55 people, open daily serving central Alberta since 2018.

We are looking for a driven, motivated, self starter who can work independently, as well as follow direction and take good care in detail. This is a part time position that would be the welcoming face to each customer who walks into our brewery.

**What you will do**:

- This position requires the regular use of a telephone, calculator, cash register, fryer, dishwasher, iPad and POS system and related apps, smartphone and related software.
- Follow and complete pre-opening and post closing checklist daily.
- Follow and complete weekly duties checklist.
- Follow stringent cleaning protocols to keep our food prep and bar area clean and tidy.
- Safely use a fryer to cook and prepare the food served to our customers along with any other food specials we may be offering.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the taproom and bar run smoothly.
- Multitask by serving customers seated both inside and outside the brewery on the patio.
- Work in a fast-paced environment where your job may change quickly.
- Any other duties that may be assigned to you by the taproom manager who you will report to directly.

**Physical and Mental Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time using repetitive motions throughout the workday.
- Ability to occasionally exert up to 50 pounds of force, and/or up to 20 pounds of force

frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds, and be able to move kegs which weigh close to 130 pounds using dollys.

**Environmental Conditions**:
While performing the duties of this position, the worker is exposed to inside environmental

conditions, extreme heat, potential for physical injury, exposure to hot fluids, pressurized

vessels and transfer lines, strong odors, chemicals, and unpleasant tasks such as handling

garbage.

**Education and Requirements**
- Ability to work a flexible schedule: days, nights and or weekends.
- Must have own vehicle, valid Driver's License, current insurance coverage and clean driving

record.
- Current ProServe Certificate.
- Able to obtain the Cicerone Beer Serving Certificate.
- Advanced knowledge of beer offerings (flavors, ingredients, etc.) in order to answer

questions from customers, as well as conduct tastings is an asset

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
