**Overview**
**Qualifications**
- Completion of Grade 12, including or supplemented by office administration, UCR and CPIC maintenance courses, plus sound related experience; preferable in an RCMP Detachment;
**Requirements**:
- Experience working with PRIME RMS 8.1;
- Minimum 60+ WPM;
- 2-3 years of related experience, preferably with the RCMP or municipal police agency;
- Sound knowledge of the rules, regulations, and policies of RCMP operations, including knowledge of administrative and record keeping methods and procedures;
- Working knowledge of the legislation applicable to the work;
- Ability to operate applicable RCMP systems and related tasks;
- Ability to read and understand occurrence files;
- Ability to perform clerical and filing tasks manually and electronically;
- Ability to deal effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts;
- Experience with Start/Stop transcription software is an asset;
- Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and current office administration practices;
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a RCMP Reliability Security Clearance (HRMIS).
