We are currently seeking qualified Superintendents for one of our residential properties in Halifax. In this role, you will be entrusted with the care and upkeep of over 60 units, playing a pivotal role in ensuring our tenants feel at home and well-cared for.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

- Performing meticulous maintenance and repairs to the building, common areas, and both vacant and occupied units, ensuring they are kept in top condition.
- Conducting ongoing building maintenance and promptly addressing any repair needs
- Cultivating strong relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns with care and professionalism, and striving to exceed their expectations.
- Managing third-party contractors effectively, overseeing their work to ensure it meets our high standards.
- Collaborating with the property manager to facilitate larger building projects
- Maintaining the cleanliness and welcoming ambiance of the lobby, laundry rooms, and elevators, creating a positive first impression for residents and visitors alike.
- Responding promptly to tenant concerns and inquiries
- Handling administrative tasks such as rent collection and promptly communicating with tenants through our property management software, Buildium.

To excel in this role, you will need:

- Strong maintenance skills, including proficiency in light plumbing, painting, cleaning, and general repairs and maintenance, allowing you to keep our properties in pristine condition.
- Previous experience in commercial property management is an asset, demonstrating your understanding of the unique challenges and responsibilities involved.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, enabling you to effectively interact with tenants, contractors, and team members alike.
- A genuine passion for creating welcoming environments and building relationships with tenants, understanding the importance of their satisfaction and comfort.
