**Position Details**

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Journeyperson Carpenter's with **Framing and Rough ins experience** for work at our project in Canmore, AB.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement

**What You Will Be Working On**
- Perform commercial framing tasks, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirement
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and/or other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and or roof systems
- Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware

**What We Are Looking For**
- Valid Journeyperson certificate in the trade of Carpentry
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
- The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
- Must have **at least** 2 years of commercial experience
- Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
