Immigration Caseworker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Case Worker to join our team. The Case Worker will be responsible for providing support and assistance to clients in need, ensuring their well-being and advocating for their rights.
**Responsibilities**:
- Evaluate potential immigration cases
- Develop strategies and outline the necessary immigration steps for clients
- Identify the documentation clients need to provide based on the established immigration strategy
- Communicate with clients to gather required documents or suggest modifications to previously submitted documents
- Examine and assess documents related to clients' education, training, work experience, and civil status
- Research and review government resources to ensure processes are up-to-date and the correct documents are being utilized
- Collect all necessary documents for timely submission and processing
- Draft submission letters, using precedents or creating documents from scratch when necessary
- Supervise, delegate, and review tasks of the processing team to meet company standards
- Manage the LMIA-WP department, providing coaching and mentorship to team members
- Report to the Senior Immigration Consultant
- Review and advise on client documents
- Submit CSEs for ongoing immigration cases
- Contact, update, and make inquiries with IRCC regarding ongoing immigration cases
- Keep clients informed of any progress and respond to all requests from or on behalf of the client
- Research immigration programs and report findings to the Senior Immigration Consultant
**Requirements**:
- Outstanding proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Experienced in finding solutions and strategies related to various immigration pathways (LMIA/WPs, ICTs, LMIA-exempt WP, PNP, etc.)
- Skilled in managing and engaging with corporate clients
- Capable of delivering exceptional client service
- Requires superior interpersonal, presentation, and written communication abilities
- Adept at analyzing processes and information, identifying issues and trends, and devising effective solutions and strategies
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Proven team player with a commitment to client success and the ability to manage a demanding workload
- Experienced in team management, with expertise in leadership, coaching, mentoring, and conflict resolution
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s Degree
**Experience**:
- Immigration: 3 years (required)
- LMIA: 3 years (required)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Additional pay:
- Commission pay
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
