**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to promote their well-being.
- Administer medication as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans that meet the specific needs of each client.
- Monitor and report any changes in client’s health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in caregiving or support roles is preferred, particularly in hospice care, senior care, or patient care settings.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the dignity of all clients.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
