We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our collaborative and dynamic environment.

**Position Summary**:
As a Dermatology Nurse (LPN) at Beacon Dermatology, you will work closely with our dermatologists to support both medical and procedural care. This role combines hands-on patient interaction, clinical responsibilities, and administrative tasks to ensure the highest level of service and efficiency within the clinic.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Assist dermatologists with in-office procedures, including biopsies and minor surgeries.

Prepare patients for examinations and dermatologic treatments.

Administer local anesthetics (e.g., for biopsies or minor procedures).

Perform or assist with procedures such as biopsies and Kenalog injections.

Educate patients about treatment plans, skincare routines, and post-procedure care.

Deliver biopsy results and follow up with patients by phone in a sensitive and professional manner.

Send referrals and follow up with both patients and external specialists.

Schedule and manage follow-up appointments.

Respond to patient phone inquiries with professionalism and empathy.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms, including restocking supplies and cleaning.

Manage medical inventory and instrument sterilization in accordance with health and safety standards.

Promote a positive team culture and contribute to a collaborative clinical environment.

**Qualifications**:
Current and active LPN license in Alberta.

Previous dermatology or outpatient clinic experience is an asset.

Strong clinical skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Proficient with EMR systems and comfortable using digital tools.

Contract length: 18 months

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
