**Job Overview**

We are hiring for a dynamic role, in purchasing and shipping. This is a hands on role including purchasing, packing slip creation, hardware sourcing and packaging, and shipping.

We are also seeking within this role the ability to assemble shipping lists and work with inter project movement of steel, such as painting and galvanizing operations. Coordination of internal and external trucking to complete project deliverables.

We will train new hire to our system, but require purchasing, logistics and shipping experience.

**Duties**
- Ordering steel and parts based off of supplied take-offs, conforming to customer requirements
- Coordinate orders with manufacturing team and schedule logistics accordingly
- Manage vendor communications related to shipping schedules and delivery expectations
- Negotiate with vendors to secure optimal delivery times
- Maintain accurate records of shipped goods, including tracking numbers, invoices, and customs documentation if applicable
- Assist in preparation of packing slip lists and organization project logistics
- Organize hardware for projects, ready for shipping with project.

**Qualifications**
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, procurement, and vendor management processes
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping
- Effective negotiation skills for vendor relations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Prior experience in sourcing, purchasing, or procurement roles is required
- Strong communication skills to coordinate across departments and external partners

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
