**Job Summary**
The Youth Worker plays a vital role in supporting and guiding children and adolescents in various settings, including schools, community centers, and recreational programs. This position focuses on fostering a safe and nurturing environment where young individuals can develop essential life skills, build self-esteem, and engage in positive social interactions. The Youth Worker will work closely with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities, to provide educational support and mentorship.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement engaging programs and activities tailored to the interests and needs of youth.
- Provide one-on-one support to children, helping them navigate personal challenges and educational goals.
- Educate youth about important life skills, such as communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution.
- Foster a safe, clean and inclusive environment that encourages participation from all children.
- Collaborate with educators, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support for youth.
- Monitor the progress of participants and adjust programs as necessary to meet their evolving needs.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and individual progress reports.

**Skills**
- Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with youth, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to educate youth on various topics while promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Patience and empathy when working with children from diverse backgrounds or those with disabilities.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- A passion for mentoring young individuals and fostering their personal growth.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50Lbs
