Global Gourmet Foods is a division of Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (TSX: PBH) which owns a broad range of leading specialty food manufacturing and differentiated food distribution businesses with operations. Global Gourmet Foods is a federally registered food manufacturer who supplies premium kettle products to key accounts in both domestic and export markets. We are seeking dynamic individuals that can work with warehouse and operations department.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

- Loading and unloading materials from truck
- Delivery / travel between our facilities and warehouse
- Completing pre-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness
- Communicate with warehouse team in both facilities
- Require handling full totes on a regular basis, moving and transferring materials in and out of and within trucks
- Require using pallet jacks and forklift to unload raw materials and finished product
- Report to supervisor if any food safety concern in raw material and finished product during delivery
- Performs other duties as assigned by management or supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have a valid Class 1 or Class 5 driver license with Air Brake Endorsement
- A clean drivers-abstract is required
- Minimum 2 years truck driving experience
- Adaptability and willingness to be flexible and drive different routes
- Willing to work as a team, take directions and make contributions
- A good knowledge of the Greater Vancouver area is helpful
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment or related environment is also an asset

Monday to Friday: Morning shift starts at 6am / Afternoon shift starts at 12pm

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
