**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Foreperson to join our team. As a Civil Foreperson, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing underground civil installation projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. You will supervise a team of workers and collaborate with Site superintendents, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects. Our projects range from Chilliwack to West Vancouver.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Ensure compliance with regulations, and safety standards
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
- Manage project budgets and track expenses
- Ability to collect slips and complete paperwork to be submitted daily
- Provide guidance and mentorship to construction crew members
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a Civil Foreperson or similar role in the construction industry (Minimum 2 years)
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
- Familiarity with budgeting and construction estimating processes
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of quality control procedures in construction projects
- Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders including engineers, subcontractors, and crew members

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $42.00-$55.00 per hour
