Urban Squash Toronto is a charitable organization that combines an intensive after-school, 6-days-a-week, yearlong education program with concentrated athletics (mostly squash). We support underserved youth in the Jane-Finch community to reach their full academic, athletic, and personal potential.

We’re currently looking for a **Casual Part-Time English and French Tutor** to join our team and support our Middle School (grade 6-8) and High School (grade 9-12) This role is perfect for someone who loves working with youth, brings energy to a classroom, and can make French and English fun and engaging

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Lead **engaging, interactive French classroom activities twice a month on Wednesday for grade 6-8 students.**:

- Offer **one-on-one tutoring sessions**on **Thursdays**for high school students who need extra support.
- Adapt lessons to match students’ learning styles and goals
- Track progress and share updates with families and the Urban Squash team
- Help students build confidence in speaking, reading, and writing French
- Create a positive, encouraging learning environment

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A background in English, French, Education, or a related field
- B.Ed. (or in progress) is a bonus
- Experience working with youth in a teaching or tutoring role
- Strong French language skills (reading, writing, speaking)
- Clear communication skills in both French and English
- A fun, flexible approach to teaching

**Time Commitment**:

- **In-person twice a month** for group French sessions (**Wednesdays, 4:00-5:30 PM)**:

- In-person every **Thursday (4:00-5:30pm) for English and French tutoring 1:1 sessions**for high school students.
- **Flexible availability** for one-on-one tutoring sessions when needed

We’re looking for someone to start as soon as possible

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
