**About Us**

Crew Electrical is a locally owned and operated electrical services company. We work for a variety of industries, including the Commercial, Industrial, and Oilfield industries. We are focused on providing Electrical services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

We are looking for a General Manager with a diverse skill set and who shares the same passion for the industry and drive to succeed to join our crew.

**The Position**:
The General Manager position must have experience in supervisory and management roles and requires strong problem-solving abilities and will be responsible for developing overall strategies, establishing and enforcing policies and processes, and managing teams. To excel in this role, you must be a proven leader and a confident decision-maker, committed to helping team members grow and succeed.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage day-to-day operations
- Design strategy and set goals for growth
- Set and execute policies and processes
- Identify deficiencies and make corrective actions
- Work with owners to establish budgets and optimize expenses
- Responsible for meeting profitability targets
- Prepare regular reports for senior management
- Monitor and Track employee performance
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process
- Coaching, leading, motivating, and disciplining employees
- Prepare and review budget and revenue forecasting
- Must be able to provide and ensure an excellent standard of customer service and representation
- Champion on job site safety

**Requirements**:

- This position reports directly to the company owners
- Direct reports include Office Administration, Estimator, Service Manager and Construction Supervisors
- Working knowledge of MS Office and other related software systems
- Experience in establishing process and procedures, work instructions, planning, and budgeting
- Proficient general knowledge of business process and functions (HR, accounting, procurement, operations etc.)
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Demonstrated initiative with the ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment
- High level of integrity, credibility and trust worthiness

- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities while working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills, and professionalism
- Must be self-motivated, and a self-starter
- Must possess good time management skills
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
- Must keep a clean work environment

**Certifications and Qualifications**
- University Degree in a relevant field from an accredited post-secondary institution an asset but not a prerequisite. Experience and track record in similar role or capacity will be considered
- Journeyman Electrician Certification is an asset
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a General Manager or similar role
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Estimating experience is an asset
