Former les autres manutentionnaires de colis (MC/PH) sur le chargement, le déchargement, la palettisation et les techniques de saisie au scanner afin d’assurer un mouvement efficace et sécuritaire des colis à travers le fonctionnement. responsable du chargement, du déchargement ou du tri physique des colis à la main, y compris le levage, la poussée, le transport et le placement de manière prudente et efficace. les manutentionnaires de colis peuvent être affectés à divers secteurs et positions comme chargeur, déchargeur, monteur de palette, préposé à la pesée (SWAK), assurance de la qualité (AQ), redresseur, placier, etc.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Trains new PHs in effective unloading, loading, palletizing, carrying, smalls handling, SWAK, and non-conveyable package handling techniques.
- Provides training to other PHs who are in need of additional instruction on unloading, carrying, loading, palletizing, smalls handling, SWAK, or non-conveyable package handling techniques, as determined by management.
- Provides feedback on proper package handling techniques, as needed.
- Reinforces among peer PHs all dock safety standards.
- Understands and demonstrates by example all necessary processes and procedures.
- Updates managers on conditions during the sort so operation efficiency decisions can be made.
- Assists in the implementation of new package handling procedures and techniques.
- Regularly loads/unloads, palletizes, lifts, carries, pushes and pulls packages while training other PHs.
- Utilizes hand-to-surface methods for all package handling.
- Loads and unloads packages onto or from delivery vehicles, trailers, pallets, conveyor system carts and load gratings.
- Lifts, carries, pushes and pulls packages on a continuous and repetitive basis for approximate shift of 3-5 hours, with potential of working one or more shifts each day
- Determines the appropriate conveyor system by scanning packages, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers and memorizing information and sorts packages accordingly.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPÉRIENCE MINIMALE
- Aucune expérience requise ; six (6) mois d’expérience en tant que manutentionnaire de colis chez FedEx Ground souhaitable.

CONNAISSANCES, COMPÉTENCES ET APTITUDES.
- Capacité de former plusieurs collègues manutentionnaires en même temps.
- Capacité de comprendre et de suivre les instructions concernant les tâches de travail et les méthodes de sécurité.
- Capacité de discerner les chiffres et les informations afin de trier correctement les colis.
- Capacité d’utiliser des outils et des équipements de base tels que des convoyeurs à rouleaux, des chariots de quai, des scanners portatifs, des glissières et des dispositifs de déchargement.
- Forte maîtrise de la communication et des relations interpersonnelles ; capacité de bien travailler en équipe malgré une cadence pressante.
- Les manutentionnaires manoeuvrant l’équipement d’aiguillage doivent avoir un permis de conduire valide et conserver un bon dossier de conduite.

Conditions de travail
- Devra travailler à des températures chaudes et froides.
- Devra travailler dans un environnement bruyant.
- Doit pouvoir soulever et transporter entre 10 et 50 lbIl n’est pas nécessaire de se déplacer.
