**Our Kitchen Team prepares food prior to and during an event. This is mainly conducted in a kitchen and/or assigned station(s).**

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide assistance directly to the Chef or Manager-on-duty
- Prepare food quickly and efficiently while meeting high standards
- Prep of ingredients; (washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, etc..)
- Set up stations and other supplies necessary before events
- Complete all key tasks, on every shift as per the Manager-on-duty
- Adhere to company policies and procedures

**Assets**:

- Training in culinary and/or some experience working in a restaurant/kitchen environment
- Smart Serve
- Food Handlers (Food Safety) Certificate
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Punctual and Reliable
- Able to take on other roles to balance team workload

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff are required to wear facial masks as preventative measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Smart Serve (preferred)
- SIN/ Legally able to work in Canada (required)
