Steel Material Handler/forklift Operator

**Forklift Operator/Material Handler **to join our dynamic team based in Delta’s Tilbury Park.

We are located in Tilbury Industrial Park in Delta BC, with four ways to get here - the Massey Tunnel, Alex Fraser Bridge, South Fraser Perimeter Rd., and Hwy 99.

**About the Position**:

- ** Shifts available**:

- ** Day Shift** - Monday - Thursday (10 Hour Shifts) - 5:00am - 3:30pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with loading and unloading CNC equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized yard.
- Tagging and maintaining merchandise/materials.
- Sorting and stacking goods into specific zones.
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment, where safety is of the highest importance.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to independently lift 50 - 100 lbs.
- Clear communication, written and spoken English.
- Ability to identify different steel shapes and correct sizes using a tape measure, Vernier caliper, and steel guidebook.
- Ability to work on your feet all day.
- Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment requiring multi-tasking and prioritizing.
- Ability to work independently and in conjunction with another team member.
- Forklift experience of more than 3 years is an asset.
- Combi-Lift experience is an asset.
- Steel industry or warehouse experience is an asset.
