**Overview**:
**Denali Transport Inc. is seeking an experienced detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to negotiate and communicate clearly with various stakeholders for the role of Claims Coordinator. This role plays a crucial role in managing and processing claims efficiently and effectively.**
**As a Claims Coordinator, you will**:
- Answer claim calls and questions from leadership, office staff, and stakeholders.
- Review and analyze claims submissions to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and other parties to negotiate claim settlements.
- Conduct follow-ups on outstanding claims to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide support in risk management initiatives by identifying potential areas for improvement in the claims process.
- Create and maintain claims management database.
- Enter documentation including, but not limited to, claim notes, estimates, photos, and correspondence into claims management database.
- Effectively communicate with clients, peers and leadership through written, verbal and in-person mean.
- Receive and enter vehicle accidents into appropriate database
- Process liability insurance claims, in accordance with accident details, Drug and Alcohol policies and DOT compliance
- Manage driver files under the accident policy
- Responsible for handling Denali Transport vehicle damage and communication with adverse parties related to vehicle accidents
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain and communicate necessary DOT compliance information
- Interact with local law enforcement agencies, gather accurate details to complete request forms and coordinate other requirements to receive accident/crash reports.
- Assist with Driver Safety Programs by categorizing and identifying drivers that meet the program’s eligibility criteria

**Key Qualifications**:
- Proficient clerical skills for effective documentation and record-keeping.
- Excellent negotiation abilities to facilitate claim settlements.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating claims data and making informed decisions.
- Knowledge of risk analysis principles to identify potential claim issues.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple claims simultaneously.
- A combination of education and experience would provide an equivalent background for this role. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Three or more years of Customer service experience required.
- Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills required
- Excellent data entry skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and Outlook required
- High level of attention to detail required
- Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct.
- Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting.
- Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.
- Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines.
**Additional requirements**:
- Proof of education is required.
- Additional assessments may be conducted to evaluate competencies, skills and knowledge.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.

Pay: $17.27-$21.28 per hour
