We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of **Data Analyst **to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks.

**Contract Duration**: 10 months
Extension Opportunity: Yes
FTE Opportunity: Possibility based on need

**Responsibilities**:

- Deep dive into banking source data, performing data analysis to understand target data processing flows and rules
- Identifying technical solutions to meet business requirements and analyzing SAS code to find causes of errors
- Works with stakeholders and technology teams to build and implement models to support regulatory reporting

1. 4-5 years’ Data Analysis and Data Management experience
2. 4-5 years’ SQL based technologies
3. 4+ years’ experience with SAS EG and SQL
4. Experience with UNIX
5. Familiarity with agile tooling to efficiently build as a team: Git, Jira, Confluence, etc.

**Nice to Have Skills**
- Working knowledge of Datastage, Informatica
- Experience with Python
- Previous relatable financial institution experience in Credit risk, IFRS is an asset

**Soft Skills**
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical results to stakeholders across a wide variety of functions
- High aptitude for diving in and picking up new technologies as required
- Be flexible and independent to own and drive the assigned tasks

**Education**
- Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field

**Salary**: $75.00-$95.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Data Analysis and Data Management: 4 years (preferred)
- SQL based technologies: 4 years (preferred)
- SAS EG and SQL: 4 years (preferred)
