Our Valuations & Expert Services practice is a leading market player. We are well-known in Canada and abroad for our expertise and services to corporate clients, investment funds and their legal and other advisors.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Will be tasked to work on a variety of financial and valuation analyses for a variety of purposes, including fairness opinions, litigation/expert witness matters, financial reporting, investment valuations and income tax
- Prepare valuation analyses, detailed financial models, written reports and presentations
- A portion of the analyses and reports will be focused in the mining and natural resources sector
- Work closely with Managing Directors, Directors and Vice Presidents in a growing practice area
- Develop a network of corporate, legal and other professionals

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 1 year of professional services experience, with valuation and accounting experience preferred but not essential
- Some experience and/or interest in the mining and natural resources sector are preferred, including learning resource-focused financial modeling based on life-of-mine models, and/or reserve reports, as well as energy & mining-focused investments, such as royalties, streaming and offtake agreements
- CPA, CBV or CFA designations or pursuit thereof is preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work with corporate clients and their legal and other professional advisors
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and ability to perform in-depth analysis
- Ability to balance multiple priorities while remaining detail oriented and ensuring projects meet timelines
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
