- Our **Glass Fabricator** positions have a **wage range of $19 - $22** per hour based on years of experience and a skills assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.

Our **AdvanTec Manufacturing Canada** facility is looking for an energetic **Glass Fabricator** to join our Glass Department at our facility in Chilliwack, BC.

The **Glass Fabricator** is responsible for producing high quality glass for production jobs, this is achieved by getting glass ready for glazing; maintaining machinery; and off-loading glass deliveries.

**Essential functions for this role are**:

- Hand arris glass to prep for the oven
- Use the glass washer
- Buff scratches on glass with either a hand operated air gun or a glass buffing machine
- Maintain machinery or equipment as necessary
- Follow all Safety Protocols and work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records

**If you have the following experience, qualifications and skills, we want to hear from you**
- Good communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Able to safely lift up to 50lbs
- Able to accurately read a tape measure
- Basic computer skills
- Able to stand for 8-10 hours
- Periodic exposure to cold & hot temperatures
- High school education or GED equivalent
- Forklift ticket an asset or willingness to train
