We are currently hiring for positions of part-time Static Security Officer.
The Static Security Officer position involves working in a nightclub, bar or restaurant environment within the Greater Vancouver area. **MUST HAVE RELEVANT EXPERIENCE**. Job duties can range from site patrol/roaming or static positions where you are guarding a post for a long period of time, to monitoring venues for events and dealing with problematic customers.
**Must be available for Holidays**
**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in similar work environments and a good understanding of retail security principles is required.
- A valid BC security license.
- The ability to carry out the physical demands of the job. The job requires walking and standing for extended periods.
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills. Must be professional and friendly at all times.
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills to identify and assess risks and provide effective resolutions.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a retail environment.
Grade: Level 1
