**LIVE - IN Care Aide Needed for VANCOUVER and BURNABY (2 - 5 days per week)**

All applicants should have a healthcare background. WE WILL ONLY CONSIDER APPLICANTS WHO CURRENTLY LIVE IN METRO VANCOUVER. Applicants should hold a Care Aide diploma or be a Care Aide or Nurse from a foreign country. ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE HAD 2 DOSES OF A COVID-19 VACCINE AS PER PROVINCIAL HEALTH ORDER FOR HEALTHCARE WORKERS.

Living Well Home Care is an Accredited agency with licensed nurses on staff overseeing all the care and providing support to the Care Aide team. We service the North Shore (West Vancouver and North Vancouver) and Vancouver. We offer a competitive wage, on-going training and education, 24 hour on-call support and medical and dental benefits to any staff that post in to Regular positions. PPE is provided to all staff and we have strict Covid-19 protocols in place.

We are Accredited with Engage BC. As Homecare in UNREGULATED in the Province of B.C, it is very important to work for an Accredited agency so you are assured that we are held to the highest standards of safe, quality care. You will report to and be supported by a team of licensed nurses as well as have 24 hour on-call and scheduling support. This protects you as a Community Health Worker.

**Duties**:

- Assisting clients with personal hygiene and getting dressed
- Assisting clients with housekeeping or other daily errands
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Observing and reporting on changes in the health or status of the client
- Taking vitals, height, and weight
- Preparing food and feeding clients
- Administering medication
- Providing support with academic, social or recreational activities

**Salary**: $209.05-$243.29 per day
