Junior Associate Family Law

**Reeves Richarz, LLP** is seeking a Junior Associate to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated legal professional with a background in family law and an interest in estate and real estate law.

**Position Overview**:
As an Associate at Reeves Richarz, LLP, you will work with senior counsel to manage and handle private client work, primarily family law but also real estate,. You will support clients through the legal processes, from file openings to motions and trials. It is expected that you will work mostly in person and reside within a short drive of the Cayuga office.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Represent clients in family law matters including separation, divorce, child custody, and support.
- Draft and review legal documents such as separation agreements, wills, powers of attorney, and real estate agreements.
- Support residential real estate transactions, from purchase agreements to closing.
- Conduct legal research, attend court appearances, mediations, and client meetings.
- Maintain accurate and organized client files and manage deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- Member in good standing with the Ontario Law Society.
- Experience practicing law, with a focus on family law.
- Strong interest in estate planning and real estate law.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Committed to delivering empathetic and effective client service.
