**CLASSIFICATION: (11002) Housekeeper**

**WORK AREA: Central City Lodge/ Cooper Place - Support Services Department**

**EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediately**

**HOURS: 0700-1500/1430-2230/1200-2000/1100-2300**

**SALARY: $23.38 Hourly**

**JOB SUMMARY**:
Responsible to the Support Services Manager and working under the general supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor this position will perform a variety of heavy cleaning duties such as wet mopping, scrubbing, waxing and polishing floors; washing walls, windows and ceilings.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education, Training and Experience**:
Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment
