The role will focus on tow desk operations, dispatch, as well as reviewing and paying tow invoices. The Claim Assistant works as part of the Claims team to successfully meet Allstate Canada and Claim Department performance requirements. **Accountabilities**: Complete all administrative work related to the processing of claims. Examples could include administrative work related to new loss report taking, salvage, police reports, PRO shops, total losses and injury claims Some cross training in all other operations functions Authorized to make claim payments within individual approved assistplus authorities Access to claim files and processes as per individual authorization and within unit specific standards and compliances **Qualifications**: Knowledge of the general insurance industry A minimum of completion of high school education Ability to work under pressure Proficient in use of computers and data entry Good written and oral communication skills Ability to collaborate with peers to reach goals **Bonus qualifications**: Fluency in French is an asset Enrolled in CIP is considered an asset Allstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
