**Role Overview**

As a Supervisor at Harvest Beer Wine and Spirits, you will be responsible for leading the team in the absence of the store manager, ensuring smooth daily operations, and providing exceptional customer service. This role includes key responsibilities such as opening and closing the store, empowering team members, and maintaining a high standard of store presentation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and motivate the team in the absence of the store manager.
- Open and close the store, ensuring security and operational readiness.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management and merchandising.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers in finding the perfect products.
- Train and develop team members to enhance their product knowledge and customer service skills.
- Ensure compliance with all store policies and procedures.
- Handle cash and perform end-of-day financial reconciliations.
- Address and resolve any customer or staff issues promptly and effectively.

**Requirements**:

- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Prior retail or customer service experience; wine, beer, and spirit knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to work early shifts as needed (6:00am on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays).
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment.
- Capable of lifting up to 20kg (50lbs).
- Strong team player with an excellent work ethic and dedication.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

- Evening shift
- Holidays

Supplemental pay types:

- Dartmouth, NS B2W 6L4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Supervising: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
