Our responsibilities include working with partners in law enforcement, justice, health and social services for a fair and accessible justice system that upholds rule of law while supporting the needs of individuals. We are responsible for the custody and supervision of adults and young persons under correctional authority, as well as the facilitation of rehabilitation. In collaboration with municipalities, Metis Settlements and First Nations, we lead disaster preparation, mitigation, response and recovery to increase individual and community resilience.

If so, then consider leading the newly formed Modernization and IMT team within the Strategy, Support and Integrated Initiatives Division.
Reporting to the Director, Modernization and IMT, the Manager, Modernization and IMT Delivery is responsible for leading a unit of service transformation professionals to ensure timely delivery and scale of IMT modernization initiatives as well as coordination of service transformation initiatives across the ministry's divisions.
The Manager, Modernization and IMT Delivery will be accountable for:
- Orchestrating a range of IMT services to departments to support and transform processes and systems;
- Aligning ministry initiatives with the broader government goals of Red Tape Reduction, IMT policy frameworks, and ministry business plans and mandates;
- Maintaining and building communication channels between stakeholder groups and providing transparency on progress, risk and costs impacting priority initiatives.

**Qualifications**:
**Required**:
- University Degree in a Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or Public Administration or related field plus a minimum of 4 years progressively responsible related experience; or equivalent as described below.
**Equivalency**:
- Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:
- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education
**Assets**:
- Experience working with IMT systems and architecture within the public service.
- Knowledge of the functioning of corrections, Alberta Emergency Management and other government systems, architecture, public policy, and legislative/regulatory development.
- Knowledge of procurement and contract management best practices as well as Government of Alberta requirements
- Familiarity with financial operations, human resource management, planning and reporting requirements as well as general administrative activities.
- In-depth knowledge of the Agile Scrum method including process mapping, organizational analysis, benefits management, and risk/issue management
