Painter’s Helper

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with surface preparation, including sanding, scraping, and priming.
- Set up and maintain work areas, ensuring tools and materials are readily available.
- Handle and store paint and other materials properly.
- Perform basic cleanup of work areas and tools.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with the setup and removal of scaffolding or ladders as needed.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **WIMS Certification** (required)
- Prior experience as a painter’s helper or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to lift and carry materials and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of painting techniques and materials is a plus.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, if necessary.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
